Delicious desserts of all sorts like a custard berry pie and a rich chocolate ganache cake. what a selection! The walnut pastry cake was a bit on the blander side and the ganache was almost too rich but overall stellar desserts!

Got a few bites to share, which included the pimento dip, the goat cheese bruschetta and a charcuterie board. Everything was fresh and delicious. We also ordered their custom cake, which was tasted great too!

The extraordinary starts when you walk to the shop front. The store looks like a upscale coffee shop and has plenty of beautiful decor and open space. Parking can be tricky but there are metered parking on the street. Upon arrival, there are glass displays of decadent colors and designs of full cake and individual desserts. Many of them were topped with rose petals and vibrant garnishes. Presentation is beautiful and flavor was good. Got a few to try and my favorite was the Passion Fruit Tart and the Lemon Yuzu cupcake. Great as a gift for friends and family as birthday or celebration treat.

Love Extraordinary Desserts! Their desserts and hot chocolates are amazing. I tried the pink hot chocolate and it was very sweet, but pairs well with the lemon bar I ordered. Probably one of the best lemon bars I've ever had too!! I've tried their chocolate cakes in the past as well and it always hits the spot. Their presentation is spot on, tastes just as good (if not better) as they look. Would love to come back and try more of their desserts

This was EXTRAORDINARY!!! I got the Gianduia cake and it was absolutely divine! I had high expectations about this place after hearing about it for months and it did not disappoint. The presentation for all the desserts was exquisite and the taste was even better. The gianduia cake is a layered cake with hazelnut cream, rum, toffee, etc. I was worried the rum would be overpowering but you actually can't taste the rum at all. The chocolate mousse was so rich and creamy. All the layers were delicious. It was expensive ($13) but my friend and I each ate half and it was just the right amount and the price is 100% worth it. If you're a chocolate lover you have to try this cake!

This is my favorite spot when I came to San Diego. Their desserts look beautiful, and taste about as rich as they appear. Plating is fun and joyful, and feels like an upscale cafe as you dine. There's a lot on the menu, including coffee and tea, as well as full meals. Ordered a slice of gianduia cake for me, and I highly recommend it for chocolate lovers. Lemon bar was fresh. Presentation was top notch and water was self serve. You should definitely dine in just to get the full experience! Street parking on a Saturday afternoon was easy. Prices are above average, but you get what you pay for here it seems. I was delighted to experience such extraordinary desserts.

A great pasty and dining spot with exceptional desserts for your choosing. Pros - amazing efficiency even though there was over 20 people in line at all times. The people working there were incredible friendly and remembers your name. All the desserts looked amazing and I definitely recommend adding on the dark hot chocolate. Lots of ample seating. Cons - none! Definitely come by this place for a wonderful snack and satisfy your sweet tooth. Great place for friends, families, and dates

Extraordinary Desserts is an amazing place filled with sweets. I went an hour before closing and the line to order was out the door. There weren't that many cake slices left and I wanted something with fruits but it was sold out. The display cases were clean and well-lit which made everything inside look so good. They were busy and there wasn't any seating inside so we got a table outside. The heater was on and it was too hot for my liking. The table next to us had their heater turned off, smart move. We didn't bother to ask the staff to turn the heat off. I ordered the chocolate velvet cake slice and it was super sweet and rich. I took 2 bites and stopped. The cake itself was moist but since I came from dinner, I just couldn't finish the slice by myself so I got a box and took it to go. We parked 3 blocks away in the residential area and walked over because we weren't sure if they had parking that was closer.
